    Hello,

I have a quick question. Last fall, I had asked my marina to detail my boat (I usually do it). I was under the impression that they would detail it before it was launched in the spring. Well I guess they buffed and waxed it last October. The boat has been indoors and shrink wrapped since then. I plan on having them launch the boat in the next week or so. I am concerned that the wax isn`t fully protecting the boat, due to it sitting for roughly 8 months. Should I be concerned?

If the boat was shrink wrapped and kept indoors, why wouldn`t the wax still be there?

Check it an see before it`s launched.

If it was shrink wrapped, mold would be a bigger concern for me, boats need to breath.

The boat should be clean, I would put another coat on prior to launching.
