    Salty, that`s great advice. I like the idea of the acid to remove the oxidation. I can`t imagine how long it would take to try to take that off with compound! You`d spend days getting to the same point, I am sure. I`ll definitely look into the Starbrite product.

    Not sure you totally understood. I used the acid to remove water scum below the water line. Not to remove oxidation. That was done by machine and the Star-Brite product.
