Will there be a wet sanding demonstration? I`d really like to learn how to do this, as it will bring my detailing to a whole other level (not to mention get my car that mich nicer)

If you plan on attending I need an e-mail. This is being held at a private residence, and will have a limited number of people. There is still room, but if no e-mail, you won`t find out where its at. The place we are having it will accumodate about 20 people. It is not open invitation. The place we are having it at is a full detailing shop at a private residence. It should be fun, but if you want to come shoot me an e-mail.

    On a side note,

I`m having a "Wash & Wax" at a Franklin Park shop. They have a huge heated garage.

    http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=709981

I`m charging $25 for a hand wash, dry, and a coat of wax applied. $5 goes to the shop per car and I get the $20 to split with a a friend of mine who works/worked @ Zeibart as their detailer.

The shop is huge, and located 5 mins away from the highway/Ohare. If you guys are interested, I can talk to him about us having our day their, for a small fee (probably the same $5 a car)

I`ve almost convinced him to let me be the official shop detailer.

There`s a 911 Porsche that`s getting a new motor that has a layer of dust on it that I think he`s gonna let me clean before it gets delivered to the owner. . .

    Hey Guys!

So I was just going through Meguiar`s Online forums...finally joined. It looks like they had some pretty neat sanding and rotary NXTi (Institute) events. It got me excited about our meet! I can`t wait! I hope we cover rotary and/or wet-sanding:bounce. If we`re going to cover rotary, I was thinking of purchasing the Harbor Freight rotary (to try) and some LC 7.5 pads.

    Countdown begins......

I would wait on that harbor freight rotary. I am will bring my Milwaukee rotary, and I think a couple of other rotaries may be there.

is there still room? I think I want to attend and learn the finer things about rotary and wetsanding, as I`ve gotten some request for that recently.
