    No posts since 2019...?

I was wondering why it is so hard to find a good detailer in WI...

And no posts in here since 2019 isn`t a very helpful sign...

I think that any state that has a solid for seasons would be tough to get a detailing business going.

Probably not much business in fall and winter. Most normies don’t think of protectoon in the winter but beauty in spring and summer.

Many of the regional forums don`t have current posts. I wouldn`t read more into that than 1) There are a lot of subforums here, I think partly due to this being what at one time was 4 separate forums 2) Fewer active members/traffic means that you don`t have to seek out a specific subforum to get your posts noticed, as might have been the case years ago when there were dozens of active threads on any particular day.

    Re: No posts since 2019...?

Being from Green Bay, WI, I can give you some "reasons" why it is difficult to find a good/great detailer in Wisconsin:
    1) As of November, they ALL fly south to Arizona or Florida. Who in their right mind stays in a climate noted for "The Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field."
    2) They all have COVID-19 and are in quarantine, according to statistics complied by the CDC.
(Apparently, detailers are considered a "high risk" group due to the "fact" that the COVID virus can live indefinitely on cow/pig/chicken manure or road kill innards splattered on vehicles!)
    3) They drink too much micro-brewery beer (Ask any Wisconsinite about New Glarus Brewery "Spotted Cow" beer)
    4) They are too fat and out-of-shape because of all the bratwurst and fried cheese curds they eat.
(Venison jerky and smoked chubbs are lean meats and considered "health foods".)
    5) They would rather be hunting or bowling (and drinking beer and eating bratwurst and cheese curds).
If you do not have a Blaze Orange jacket or a bowling shirt in your wardrobe, you are NOT from Wisconsin!
    6) They HAVE to detail crappy, rusted-out pick-up trucks or winter beaters in order to make ends meet.
    7) They only use Milwaukee Power Tools rotary buffers that weigh like 10 pounds due to their allegiance to "The Beer Capital of The World."
    8) They follow the Green Bay Packer Football News for 6 months out of the year and have no time for the Autopia Forum. Go, Pack, Go! If you do not have a green-and-gold Packer shirt of some sort in your wardrobe, you REALLY are not from Wisconsin! (Mine is covered in Meg`s M105 compound splatter from using too much on a pad in an attempt to keep it from drying out while detailing a winter beater and listening to the game on the radio in the garage)
