Just curious if you could let us know why? I liked the Opticoat 2.0 a lot for 2 years and not it protects but does not bead. Was trying to side between new opti gloss mad using EXO again or something else. Rasky your work is great and you are a well respected detailer in my book. Would love to know what made you jump off Opticoat ? Thanks.

Sorry, just saw your comment now.
It had to do with Optimum itself and had absolutely nothing to do with the product. Repeated price increases (3 in less than 2 years for a total of 600%), forcing owners to pay more for a warranty, one that I feel is a worthless piece of paper, and complete disregard for it`s installers...just to name a few.
I actually had to think long and hard before making this decision as coatings had become a big percentage of my business, which were mostly all OCP jobs. At the end of the day I just couldn`t continue to support a company that showed what I believe to be unethical practices, regardless of how much money it made me. It`s a solid product though and at times I do miss using it.
Cheers,
Rasky

Good client of mine recently purchased this `97 Prowler, #51 build with 770 original miles on it. The car was in great shape overall but it did have some moderate swirls and a few RIDS from years of improper wipe downs. 2-step correction, CQuartz Finest, Dlux, FlyBy Forte, and CarPro Fabric on the top.

Definitely a rare thing for me. I only do mobile if the facility is up to my liking....which obviously this one was. I did the Vette at his house last winter but he did bring the `52 Chevy to my place last summer.
Correction was done with various polishers, Rupes 15/LHR75/Flex PE14 and MF pads for cutting and foam for the final finish.
