This new Hellcat was in for a multi-step paint correction to remove the factory dieback and light swirls in the paint. The car then had 3M Performance film applied to the whole front, doors, and rear bumper cover. Once it came back to me the whole car was topped off with Cquartz Finest coating.
Process:
Wash – ONR
Wheels – Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus & wash mitt.
Tires - Cleaned with Megs D143 and Tuf-Shine brush. Dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing 3:1
Paint Prep – Griot’s Fast Surface Prep Mitt and Glide as lube
Paint Correction – Megs M100 on the rotary with PFW pads followed by Optimum Hyper Polish on the G15 with yellow BOSS pads. Tight areas were done with the Rupes Nano.
Glass – Megs D120 and Griot’s PFM glass towels
Coating Prep – Optimum Paint Prep
Coating – 2 coats Cquartz Finest to all paint, wheels, and calipers.
