    Hello Folks,

Thinking about taking my car (`07 5 series) to Value Guard in cincinnati to look at the car (acid rain spots) and hopefully fix them. Any one has any issues or any reservations with them?

    Thanks

Wait a couple of weeks until Tim Brune gets back. He is on an assignment in Africa for a couple of weeks.

Ask for Tim to be the one to diagnois the car for you, no one else.

I will and not to be rude but what makes him the only person to do it, is he that qualified?

Yes, he is my replacement at the company,(I was Director of Sales and Techncial Services, Tim carried the title Technical Director at the time) we worked together for 13 years at AI (ValuGard), plus when I was at Finish Kare, they were my distributor for your area and Tim and I worked together then.

Since the first post, was thinking back and 2007 was a year before I retired from the company.

I recall we had a ton of those 5`s from dealers with servere acid rain etches right off the transport trucks.

Some could not be correctly "corrected" and told the Cincinnati dealer such.

He took them anyway, after corrections, and don`t know what happened to them after that.

You may wish to remeber this and refresh Tim`s memory when you talk with him.

Call the toll free number in a couple of weeks to talk with him-800-543-7156

They have the ValuGard Auto Processing facility where such work is actually performed, it`s at another location north of the world headquarters.

Spoke to David ? at the other facility today even before I posted here and actually made an appointment for next week. Shall I change it and make it with Tim instead?

Btw, do they offer any other detailing services like Opticare etc etc or just to the point service?

    Thanks

It`s your call, David is a "desk guy" that deals with Chrysler, etc on sales only, plus does administrative duties as VP of the company, not a technical person or really diagnoist, would wait until Tim can take a look and see if it is actually repairable.

No sence spending money on a repair that may not be the answer.
