I need someone in Louisville, KY to help a friend with some scratches in his brand new black Honda Pilot. He has a deep (through the paint) scratch in the door and rear bumper. It doens`t have to be perfect. Just apply some touch up and maybe a light sanding to level it a little. He doesn`t want to have it professionally refinished.

Post your contact info here so I can link him this thread. (or PM it)

That`s a 100 miles south of me-if he`s willing to come up here for a day, I`ll be happy to work it out. He can drop it off, and go down to the waterfront with his family and enjoy the Newport Aquarium.

Clay with Auto Image Detail may be able to help. If Clay is too expensive, I can take a look at it. Is he planning to buy some touch up paint from a Honda Dealership or some place like paintchip.com? The better the touch up paint (generally) the better the touch up job.

Thanks for the tip. Will let him know. It`s solid black so matching isn`t that much of an issue.

Hey, David. Life has been crazy for the past year...Actually moved to Louisville (From Lexington) for a new career. I have had ZERO time for detailing...barely have enough time to keep my car looking good. I`m actually trying to sell a bunch of my supplies. Any suggestions on how to get rid of extras? How have you been, my man?

Been good! Miss seeing your posts. Hopefully things get sorted out and you start posting again. In the meantime, post your for sale stuff in the Good Deals section:

Thanks, David. As you can see, life is hectic at the moment. I miss the great guys on the forum. Once work slows down and I can put together some inventory lists, I`ll head over to the section to post. Hope all is well, my man.
