cvpiftw- You could just get something user-friendly (e.g., 1Z brand polishes) and figure it out for yourself. I know people with *zero* detailing experience/interest who did just fine that way- they simply thought it through and then did it, no problems at all. Until you get into really serious stuff, basic detailing is about 95% common sense IMO.
