I know it is called EKU, but around here we really don`t consider Richmond to be located in Eastern KY.

Let me be the first (from Autopia) to welcome you to the bluegrass state. This is a very scenic part of the state and I hope you`ll enjoy your stay here. I am originally from Columbus, OH, but have been down here in Lexington for many, many moons.

With Lexington just 20 odd miles up I-75 and Louisville about 80 miles west you should be able to find plenty to do. Do try to make it to the races at Keeneland (in Lexington) sometime; it is a very beautiful location.

If you have any questions about the area I`ll try to answer them.... good luck getting moved in and with your studies.
