Is there a good car wash, or detail center around there? Or...is there a need for one? I`m thinking of the Oakwood area.

    Thanks, Rob

I`m in Dayton. I detail as a side project. I have too much other stuff going

on to do it full time. I work full time, plus own a small business in Cincy.

I do all of my work in my garage. I believe in quality over quantity. Usually

I do about 10-20 cars a year depending on my time. Good luck if you decide

to set up shop there. :woot:

Hey, I live in Richmond, Indiana which is real close. I work for a consulting firm and am currently in Cinci 3 days a week and downtown Dayton 2 days each week.

I am interested in getting a detailer pow-wow going for the area.

We`re going to be in Oakwood on the 30th for a couple of days to get a feel for the area. If we like, Winner`s Circle will be there for a year at least. It would be fun to meet some of the midwest customers.

    Thanks, Rob

I don`t live to far from Oakwood. Nice place to set up at. Good upscale neighborhood.

If you`re not from the area, ask us and we can give you the heads up on things.

We`ll be there from June 30-July 3rd. I asked my realtor to show me around and what locals like to do with families, etc. not just look at houses.

If you have any thoughts as to what is fun to do with families in Dayton, or where locals like to eat, etc. that would be great.

I`m not familiar with Dayton, but understand there are things to do. I want to show my kids things that they can do or become involved with to help them fit in if we move there.

    Thanks, Rob

There are a fair number of things to do between the Dayton area and Cinci being right down the road. A couple things come to mind: The Dayton Dragons are a minor league baseball team and the stadium is pretty nice. http://www.daytondragons.com/

Also, the AF Museum at Wright Patterson is also a big hit for the kids.

I`m sure your realtor will give you some more ideas.

I live in Dayton (Beavercreek to be exact) and also in Columbus. Does anyone know of a bucket wash place? (One where they just provide the water and an area for your car, and you bring your own washing supplies)

Just returned. Oakwood was great and we hung out at the Dayton CC most of the time..a bit warm for us CA folk.

My wife and I like a house, but a few financials need to be worked out. I am applying for various teaching positions, but time is short as the school year is only about 8 weeks away. We want to be there when school starts for the kids. She wants to make a decision today!!!

We might not make it there, but man, it would cost so much less!!! Housing is about 80% less than here in SB.

    Thanks, Rob
