I am just starting my detailing business in the Washington, DC regain; and, I was asked how much would I charge to detail a dump truck? Whereas, he wanted me to give a set fee, but was not sure should I charge hourly or a set fee. The dump truck is used for an asphalt business, and only looking for the basic. `

How much should I charge taking into consideration my material and travel time to make it worth my time?

Only you can decide what to charge. Total price will depend on the condition of the car, the amount of time it would take YOU to do the job. Plus, what is your time worth? I have a feeling, that you will lose on this job, meaning you will under charge. Try calling around and see what some of the other shops would charge. Good luck! Where is DC are you? I moved to Oregon from Fairfax.
