I just bought a new project car. Its a 1969 BMW 2800. It`s a one-owner car that needs some work which I plan to do over time. The exterior has been neglected. The paint is heavily oxidized and thin in a number fo places. There are a number of dings and abrasions.

What I` looking for someone to to help me make the best of it. A good polish to bring out whatever the paint has left and a wax. Chrome is also neglected so that needs polishing as well. My expectations are realistic as I know the car really needs to be repainted but that is a way down on my to-do list for this baby and I want it to look decent whiel I do the mechanical work.

Anyone professional detailers in NoVA up for a challenge? The car is in the Kingstowne Area.
