    I love this stuff too.....I would remove the cabin filter BEFORE the product is introduced to the HVAC system though the center vents as you spraying the foam basiclly on top of the filter.I have always used it by snaking the tube up the evaporator drain tube.My 2 cents

    How is that? The filter is on the other side of the evaporator from the vents.

    That`s certainly a recommended method. It all depends on the car--I`ve worked on cars where you can see the evaporator face from the filter opening; in that case it was easier to spray the cleaner directly on the evaporator. But I also have had success spraying it down the center vents--of course 1Z stopped advising that after they were shorting out something in certain model Acuras. I`ve also snaked the spray tube between the fan blades (from the filter opening) on cars that are set up that way.
