    Cold caling offices/business parks

This topic is not discussed all too often and I was hoping for some other feedback from mobile detailers. I`ll start by sharing my experience

On days where I am not terribly busy or when on a mobile job I like to cold call surrounding offices & business parks. My experience has been you have to keep dropping off business cards and usually need to be doing another client`s vehicle close by as a point of reference. Its much easier to get work when they know their neighbor/friend uses you.

Doctors & lawyer offices are the ones too target IMO, these are mostly the ones I service. One of them even has an underground garage with heat & water.

I rarely perform full details, wash jobs & wash & waxes are the main service.

    Feel free to discuss.

I don`t think it can hurt, although it may be better to drive there in person, IME.

Cold calling isn`t for everyone, but for those who enjoy it can be successful.

Just be sure to obey the "No Soliciting" signs.

Agree, sometimes it`s better to show up in person....prepared. It`s easy for a person to say "no" and hang up a phone. Some people have a hard time saying "no" when standing in front of someone....
