Personally I always hated dealing with dealerships and haven`t felt the desire to in years.

You might find one or two that are willing to pay for detailing but most are really cheap. Thats been my experience with them

No matter how "high end" they are, they are always worried about there bottom line. I had a chance to be the in shop detailer for a high end Merc dealership, I gave them a low ball quote and they still thought it was to high. Just be careful because they will end up taking up alot of your valuable time.

Dealerships in general may not be willing to pay for premium detailing but there are some out there that do put an emphasis on quality.

Just need to find one that understands the different between washing a car with a broom and washing using methods and products that prevent swirls and scratches and not installing them.

Same as above, most of the dealerships that I have done business with want more work done and want to pay for less.
It just falls back to almost every detailer out there completely willing to undercut the next guy. I have had deals with dealerships that I took for an EXTREME cut to my regular price, and some other business came in and did each detail for $5 cheaper, and I lost the contract without any word, warning or anything.
I only have one dealer contract right now, and even it`s not that steady because they know the quality and the amount of work I put into my cars, so I only get the customers that have the extreme high end of their line, or the customers they know will be the pickiest about the final product.

Almost all (if not all) now have their own in house detailers and no longer contract out. Most also offer detailing as a service as well.

I once worked for a dealership when I got out of school prepping new cars for delivery...I quit after 3 months.
