My cousin makes them and also Jngerbrdman does them too ...I think there are a few IT guys here with ability too ..
Some will say just go make it yourself! Yes it can be done, but I have to tell you it takes a lot of time and patience. It took me two years to get my mf site up
For those that are looking to learn and do their own, have a look at these guys. I have just started to work with it and find it way easy

Word press is the site that I employ. My wife set up the site and chose Word Press for me. I think another site is called Iblog or something to that effect if you are a do it your self kind of individual.
You can build an easy and cheap site through places like godaddy and dotster. Wordpress is a blog software for the most part.
Wordpress is a blogging site and while I don`t think a blogging site lends itself as well to creating a commercial website it is fairly easy to set up and start adding content and you can do it with little to know knowledge of how to create a website. I`ve used this one and it`s free...

I haven`t used the free page creator that you can use if you host your website with GoDaddy but it probably works well enough to create a simple website. I do register all my names using GoDaddy as it`s just as good as anywhere and to date I`ve never had any problems.
Creating a website from scratch on the other hand means you need to know at least a little bit about using an ftp client, and at a minimum, a little bit about html coding. Even if you download a free template for a webpage, you still have to edit it and add all your own custom content.

mine is texstardetail.com
I go through 1and1.com. I was able to make my own with a some layouts they have. I pay $29.xx every 6 months. It includes the domain name and putting it online. You get many things with it as far as tracking who looks at your site, what pages they visit, where they are from, time spent on each page, geography, and array of other goodies. I am no computer person by ANY means and managed to pull mine off. It`s not the best, but hell, it`s cheap and does the job.

I used Go Daddy its dummy proof. Taking Dreamweaver and Photoshop in HS helped a little.

My son-in-law is employed as a commercial web designer and adobe flash programmer.
He`s worked on Bacardi, Dewar`s and other major advertisers.
He`s received awards for his professional work.
Website design, layout and context is a professional job, done by professionals, and amateur ones are very obvious.
Things most important when developing a commercial site are:
A clear, concise front page. Express your purpose or mission with as few words as possible. Get to the point!
Grammar and spelling are very, very important if you wish to portray a professional image.
Keep it clean, uncluttered and fast loading.
Give the viewer a reason to call you or want your product or services.
A few examples of his amazing work.
