I KNOW I NEED SOME HELP
Promotions have never been my strong point.
I have found the main thing people want is to feel comfortable and confident that they have made a good choice when they choose you or your company. Price is most important to some but those shouldn`t be your target customer. Let them go to the local scratch-o-matic.
The reason I mention this is your promotions should reflect your goals with the business. I would rather see you include extras that are really attractive and make it sound like you want to show off what you can do for them. Don`t cheapen your services if you can help it.
I haven`t always been this way but I`m at the stage now where if I`m gonna give someone a "deal" it`s gonna be an extraordinary deal so they feel like you did them a favor and now they owe you some referrals.
I said all of this assuming you don`t want to be a low cost detail shop that gives mediocre service because that`s all the customer can or will pay for. I`ve seen a lot of these kinds of shops when I used to run a chemical supply truck. None of these people were happy in their trade and they were always broke. There is a market for it though and some of them are still in business today but that doesn`t appeal to me at all.
One more thought. If you feel the need to discount to get some business, target someone that can give you some steady work. I know you probably are doing at least some work for the dealer where you are, but get them to refer you to other dealers if you can. Dealers are cheap for the most part but if you sell yourself right they can be a good source of steady work even in these times. Just throwing that out there. I know I have made some good money doing dealer work in the past but I wouldn`t rely on it.
I wonder how this turned out????
I`m up for the bikini pics.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.
