    Door Hangers

Any of you guys ever use door hangers for advertising? They seem to be a good marketing tool for me. There really is no hassling people either. All you do is pick out a neighborhood (preferably one with people that can afford your services) walk up to the door place your hanger and walk away. No door knocking or door bell ring it`s that simple. If some one happens to come the door or is out in the yard, I greet them tell them who I am, and why I`m living my material (if you want to call it that) on their door. Door hanger also work really well in apartment complexes. You can also target different businesses as well. Such as banks, mortgage companies, law offices etc. I try to place the hanger on the door that the employees use.

I`ve attached a copy of my door hanger for some what of an example of what can be placed on one.

I know most of you guys have been detailing for years and probably know about this already. I ask that you forgive me if this has been a discussion in times past. I did a word search a did not see anything relating to this topic. Just thought I would post something that might help someone.

Here is a revision of my door hanger Door%20hanger[1].JPG double click to blow up.

They have been a great marketing tool for me. I get about 740 hangers in a box for $60.00.

What I dd last year was broke them down in sets of a 100, and each week I would pick an up scale neighborhood to hang the set of 100. I kept track of which neighborhoods I was getting my calls & clientele. If I got a couple of details out a neighborhood I would go back and place more hangers. This worked really well for my last year!!!

I would also target business such realtors, mortgage companies, banks, woman`s spa`s , and doctor`s offices. It`s also a good idea to keep some in your ride for when your out and about or your detailing someones car and the block they live on has potential clients. Just walk up to the door hang the hanger and walk away. No hassle , no bothering , no problems .

Looks good. You must have read my mind. I am in the process of designing some hangers myself. My girlfriend makes, prints, cuts, and laminates mine for free. (She works in a graphics lab; also getting vinyl done for my van)

I really like the car logo you have. Very nice indeed.

There is a guy that goes to my church that has his own printing company. He has very reasonable prices.

    Re: Door Hangers

The hardest part is trying to get what you want to say in such a small space. I have been working on mine, off and on, for about a month. LOL.

Yea, my GF is a keeper...lol
