    Re: A Marketing Idea.....

I picked the box up at Office Max. It`s cheaper at Office Deopt, but they all price match. The box runs between $15-18... the card holders, I got at Office Max. They came in a pack of 2, same isle as the box they were 2.49ish. then some double sided tape.....cheaper at walmart. And that is all my friends. Spent less than 20 bucks! A cheap money maker!

I`m sure that you have now caused a run on local office depots for plastic boxes and card holders

I didn`t see your post before I left Tex so I just search a little got the box for about $18 and the 2pack of Business card holders for $2.00 and double sided tape for $1.49 so I spent just about $22. Not bad at all.

He wants me to put them in ALL of his places. Think 4 other lube places.
Anyways, what you do is set it up and advertise on it. (Example: 15% off a full detail.) Put some info on there, the drawing date etc.....
When the date comes time to draw, call EVERYONE that has entered! Tell them that they had their name picked for the drawing. The customers get what they want and you get what you set out to get!

Here is a couple of pics of mine. I need to make more. I also need to redo my little info paper up top....

I bought the box from an office store, along with the card holders(2 pack), and double sided tape.
I had to cut the little tab off the back of the car holders so I can mount them to the box itself.

    Questions/Comments?
1 question what size is the paper you used to slide inside?

Have them price match, most of the times they go lower.

I love thiis idea. This is something any service type business can benefit from.

If I could make 2 suggestions.First, would be to use the areas of the box that are open(no card holders etc) to display some thumb nail before/after pictures of your work.It gives people and idea of what their vehicle will look like if they win(little do they know, they all win).Second, add a line for their email address so you can contact them when you are running a special.
