Something broke on my PC, anyone know what this is?

Hello,

I was using my PC, there was some strange noise and soemthing came spnning out. I`ve attached a photo. Does anyone recognise what it is and where it came from?

Photo did not come through. You may have lost a screw to the counter weight. Take off the backing plate and see if the weight is still attached by two screws.

Not sure I`ve seen that either. Here is their part list and diagram. I don`t see anything there that looks like it either. Perhaps it is a piece of the field. I`d take it to an authorized repair center for an estimate. If you got it at Meguiar`s just get an RMA and send it back for a free replacement.

If the repair cost is excessive you can find these at Lowes for under $100.

My PC is 10 years old and on average I`ve used it on one or two cars a week for the past 10 years. They are normally very rugged.
