    Black LC Pad

Anyone use this pad to apply LSP?

LC says it can be used "apply a light polish, finishing polish, glaze, sealant or liquid wax".

The fact that it says it can used to polish leads me to believe it might have some "bite" to it - which I don`t want when applying a final wax or sealant.

    Thanks!
    Dan

Rest-assured there is no bite to Lake Countries black pads. If you use one with a light/ finishing polish the bite comes from the abrasives in the polish - not the pad itself. I`ve had great success using a black LC CCS pad to correct the soft black paint on my Honda.

Hope that helps answer your question?

From what I under stand it has no mechanical bite of its own but is firm enough to use a polish or a compound and still get cut from them.

Edit: wow I was late got tied up while I was typing now my answer looks redundant.

For my taste, it`s *too* soft for some LSPs, I prefer my LSPing pads to be a bit more firm (but still zero-cut).
