so I still have a shinny black car to pimp around on Sunday.

Washing it on Sunday makes no sense to me since by Monday my car would just sit outside my office parking lot collecting dusts. And by Tuesday it looks like I need to wash it again. Damn black car!

I prefer to do the car on Sat., too, for the same reason others have mentioned: I want a shiny car to cruise around in on Sunday

The ideal weekend for me, though, is a late Friday evening wash and into the garage; then I can toss on another layer of Z and do tire dressing, vacuuming, etc. first thing Sat, done by lunch. Then I have Saturday afternoon <strong class=`bbc`>and[/b] Sunday to cruise :xyxthumbs

Any day that ends in a Y is a good day to wash the car.

Provided it`s not raining - in which case, I`m sure someone here has devised a setup to wash the car in the rain without getting the car wet afterwards

You know, it may sound crazy, it probably is, but I do actually like to wash my car when it`s raining. If it`s been raining for awhile all the dirt and debris is soft and loosened up. As long as I think I won`t be driving it until the rain has stopped I`ll get it all cleaned up, then when the rain stops I`ll just dry it off and I`m good to go.

And I thought I was crazy, car was filthy backed it out into the pouring rain drove back into the garage soaped her up, backed in and out a few times. Brought it back in and dried it off. Looked real good then I wondered if the neighbours saw me doing this, they must thinks I`m nuts. But hey the car looked great. And the next day while everyone else was out washing theirs I went out for a ride.:p
