That is the most awesome chart. It just needs to be updated now for the six inch Kompressors, the 5.5 inch classic flats, and the new Hydro-Techs.

Anyone know if LC is gonna expand the Hydro-Tech line to include a true finishing pad?

    Hydro pads

Please tell us about hydro pads as well.
I am really confused which pads to use with so many pads ranges to choose from. Buying all 4 to test will be waste of money.

Lake Country 4" Hydro-Tech Advanced Cutting & Ultra-Polishing European Foam Pads

Classic Motoring Accessories & Lake Country Manufacturing are proud to release the latest advancement in European foam technology in the Hydro-Tech Tangerine Ultra-Fine Polishing Pad, and their Hydro-Tech Cyan Advanced Cutting/Polishing Pad. This foam is non-reticulated, or cloLake Country HydroTech 4" Cyan Padsed-cell which means less product absorption, and less air flow through the pad. This makes these pads perfectly suited for use with water-based polishes because the products don`t dry as fast allowing for longer working times.

The Hydro-Tech Cyan Advanced Cutting/Polishing Foam Pad is a moderate to aggressive polishing/cutting pad designed for moderate to severe defect removal while still finishing to a high-gloss, nearly mark-free finish.

The Hydro-Tech Cyan Advanced Cutting/Polishing Foam Pad is slightly less aggressive than the Lake Country Yellow Cutting Foam Pad, but still finishes as nice as the Orange Power Pad. If feels the gap perfectly between the those two pads. This pad is great for moderate to heavy cutting polishes.Lake Country HydroTech 4" Tangerine Pad

The Hydro-Tech Tangerine Ultra-Fine Polishing Foam Pad is a moderately light polishing foam that will remove compounding marks and typical swirl marks will finishing to a hologram-free finish.

The Hydro-Tech Tangerine Ultra-Fine Polishing Foam Pad is slightly less aggressive than the Lake Country Orange Power Pad but more aggressive than the White Polishing Pad while producing a finish that is near equal to the Black Finessing Pad. These pads are designed for use with light to moderate cutting polishes.

The Hydro-Tech Crimson Red Ultra-Fine Polishing Foam Pad is a softer polishing foam that will remove light swirl marks and prep the paint for your final wax.

The Hydro-Tech Crimson Ultra-Fine Polishing Foam Pad is less aggressive than the Hydro-Tech Tangerine Pad but with the right polish can remove light swirls and finish to a deep, clear finish. These pads are designed for use with light-cutting to cleaning polishes.

    Hyper-Tech Pad Side View

These pads are 1-1/4" thick and have a hook and loop backing to fit perfectly on a 3.75" backing plate.
    - Quote refers to 4" pad.

Just sharing things I saw for the Hydro Tech pads (derived from PAC site). 3 of them. Most recent is the crimson red finishing pad. Testing them out soon.

Todd, I apologize if I seem to TJ your thread.
    Still learning....
