    Car Pro Pads

Would like to know what the folks who use them think of them-- and which ones they are using

I use the Gloss pads for applying Essence. It’s a very soft pad great for finishing polishes.

I have also used their gloss pads with Essence and Gyeon Primer. I have also used their cool hybrid pad which cuts good and has a decent finish depending on the paint hardness.

The white finishing pads are all I use when using Essence primer. The orange foam pads are not as aggressive as your normal orange light cutting pad. Its more of a polishing pad or heavy polishing pad. I have not tried any of their MF pads

I`ve only sampled their Flash Pad. I liked it.

Read about it here (not sure why, but pics aren`t showing) https://www.autopia.org/forums/detai...tml?highlight=

How about the rupes UHS ( ultra high solids) pads-- anyone??

Not sure if everyone knows but a lot of paint and body folks think that the high solids clear is the way to go

CarPro Gloss Pads for Essence makes some serious gloss... and would likely do the same with most LSPs.

    Re: Car Pro Pads

I’ve used the gloss bad for a few different fine finishing products and they work great. I’ve used the flash pads, they can definitely remove some defects in a hurry. Thei rayon glass polishing pad is definitely the only glass polishing pad I use.

I love the gloss pads for burnishing with the rotary.

Flash pads are great for some serious work.

The glass pads are unmatched with Ceriglass on glass.

    Re: Car Pro Pads

Those flash pads do cut quick. I get a squeal noise from them sometimes. They do load up quickly though.

I didn`t think about the glass pads. They are the only ones I use with Ceriglass also. I have some LC glass pads that marred up the glass really bad. I`m sticking with the carpro`s.

Dr Oldz….have you ever applied Essence with a rotary and the gloss pads? I wonder if the filling is enhanced at all?

Sorry DBAILEY but I have not. I actually have not even used essence or the plus version.
