I actually find it to be more of a replacement to all my 3" machines than the Nano. It`s powerful, compact, and cordless. It does work well as a 1" tool too and having Kevin Brown make up some extensions for it would help offset it`s larger size over the Nano. I really don`t do many exotics and my need for the Nano has always been limited. I`ll probably end up selling them at some point. What I really like about the Flex though is that it`s small enough that I can place it in the tray of my creeper chair and as I go around the car I can just quick grab it when I come to an area where a 3" machine is needed. No unplugging the cord of my 15/21 and swapping it into one of my other 3" machines. Being cordless really is a huge plus and I find this tool saves me lots of time. Swapping the different attachments is effortless too and doesn`t require the tiny tools to swap them out like Rupes does.

Great insights. Although I don`t have an cordless polishers, I love my cordless tools, and I have been a little surprised at the negative comments that have been made about cordless polishers in the past (not necessarily in this thread).
