I actually find it to be more of a replacement to all my 3" machines than the Nano. It`s powerful, compact, and cordless. What I really like about the Flex though is that it`s small enough that I can place it in the tray of my creeper chair and as I go around the car I can just quick grab it when I come to an area where a 3" machine is needed. No unplugging the cord of my 15/21 and swapping it into one of my other 3" machines. Being cordless really is a huge plus and I find this tool saves me lots of time.
