I`ve used Rupes pads, Lake Country and a few others with his SK15 with good results.

Other question is it has a 5 inch backing plate, can I use a 5 inch pad?? I was told not to..I really like the rupes pads but they don`t have a 5.5 inch pad

The 6" Rupes pads are 5" at the backing plate interface.

Lake Country HDO pads are nice as well. The cutting pad and polishing pad are nice.

The boss m/f pads work great, as does the Wolfgang uber compound.
