Wow, talk about a blatant rip.

    `

Looks like they just wrapped it and made a mold and right to production.

    `

Would like to see how well it works but I would still buy the original over this.` I rather see some imagination.

The price is too high IMO as well for a copy.

For $275 I think I`d just bite the bullet and get a Rupes.

Thought for sure the MaxShine unit`would be offered by Griots, but haven`t seen anything as yet`` http://maxshinechina.com/product_sho...assid=25&id=83

It`s probably the same thing, sourced from China but marketed under their name.

    `

BTW, Ansi Auto have reportedly appointed many distributors worldwide and the physical distribution is likely to to commence from July (which matches the date mentioned in the Gloss-It website).

I looked around their (gloss-it) site and the mark-up is crazy! $399 for a basic old model Cyclo? $169 for a PC. I bet the Rupes knock-off cost them under a hundred bucks.

    `

No thanks, I`ll wait til other rebranders get in and offer a better price, Harbor Freight? you listening??

I agree the knock-off is over priced for what it likely cost to make. `We have seen this before with prior DA`s.

I used to get these offers all of the time from China to try and get me to sell these types of polishers. `One even begged to send me a polisher to try and then wanted me to pay to ship it back to them. `After using it I knew it was something I`d have a lot of complaints and returns on so I passed and just kept it. `Have not touched it since.
