    I actually used one of those once. for a whopping 300 bps. (.0375 kb per second). One picture the resolution of the modem pic would take an hour to download.

    Jeez... I think my first modem was 9600 baud. Used it to log on to CompuServe from an old Tandy PC



    I can`t imagine a 300 baud connection. Even ASCII graphics would take forever to download.

    Hehe, had a Tandy 1000 way back when and used CompuServe for a while. On a 300 baud modem, you can watch the ascii being drawn... :work:

    Nice. Mine was one of the early "Portable Computer" models, a 1400LT











    With an external CGA monitor, that was fun times.

    4 color was the way to go! 12" models were going for 2k back in the mid 80`s. Actually, Tandy had the option for 16 color (EGA), if you wanted to really break the bank. :bat
