Garry Dean - Premium Custom Detailing

Here is some video I shot to review and share my thoughts on the Shurhold dual action polisher.

This is also a How To video showing how to move the power switch from the side of the unit to the top.

I am not sure if this voids the warranty or not so do so at your own risk.

Great video Garry! I like how easy it is to change the configuration of the switch.

Good stuff, Garry. Doesn`t look like a machine all that worthwhile to pick up if it`s noticeably weaker than a PCXP. Ergonomics are nice, but lower on my list of importance than functionality since there`s really nothing "wrong" with the other offerings out there aside from the vibration issues they all suffer from.

I would highly recommend against this unit. It just leaves so much to be desired compared to all of the other d/a`s Ive used.

I have no clue about reliability, but I dont even care to find out.

My all time favorite is still the good ole Porter Cable 7424XP. Its very reliable and has plenty of power.

That shurhold looks just like the griots. I was wondering if they are made by the same manufacturer in china. They just use a higher amp. rated motor in the Griots.

I have no clue... The bodies do look the same, but everything else seems to be different. Definately has a different motor!
