I just ordered the GG polisher and LC ccs pads (both 4" and 5.5"). But I`m reading that some ppl prefer the flat pads. So should I switch to flat?

Also, the Hydro Edge pads also seem to be popular, but I was told they are for water-based polishes only. Can they also be used with products like Megs 105/205 and would the results be better/faster than with the ccs or flat pads?

I tried a 6.5" white ccs pad today on half of my honda before it literally came apart. I`m trying Uber pads next.

i`ll tell you what . . . . . . i have used CCS pads for years and have never been more un happy with them. I recently . . . . about 2-3 months ago made the switch to Flat Pads Uber Flat Pads to be exact and have never been happier.

Flat pads are awesome and i would really recommend them over the CCS design.

I found em. I see they don`t have as many colors. This might simplify things. I figure I`ll try to order one kit of the 4" and one of the 5.5" taking one color of each. Or should I skip the orange?

This depends on if I can cancel the ccs pads that I have on order at AG.

I have the Uber pads in orange, green and blue. So far very happy but I have only done one car with then so I am not sure on durability but are working very well so far. I too use the GG ROB for correction work.

I`ve read a lot of very good feedback on their green pads. I`m thinking I`ll just order one of each in both the 4" and 5.5" sizes. There is no black pad in the 4" though. But I figure I`ll try them all and see what works best with the polish I`m using and the car I`m working on.

Funny- I have never had a problem using any CCS pads. I use both CCS and Flat as I have over 250 pads for myself... AHHH LOL

Whoa! Hope you got a lot of storage space.

I am looking at the Buff and Shine pads now. They seem to be the same pads as the Ubers. Price is slightly lower but some are out of stock, grrrr

I`m thinking of getting yellow, green, blue, black

I would love to get large enough to call for 200+ pads, I tend to wear them out fairly quickly as I do not have that many on hand. I try to keep 5 of each level but I am low right now need to make some dough before I order again.
