It`s been a long time since I used any of the clearkote products by rotary and I decided to dig out my last bottle and give it a go again (about a year since I used it)

For some reason I can`t work out how to use it anymore and I keep getting holograms

I used to work it until it dissappears and had no trouble but now it just dries up too fast or holograms regardless of working time

Since moving up to 106FF, Driven, Ultra Gloss and some other polishes, I get the same or better results than I would with VM anyway

Perhaps Scottwax could chime in and give me a refresher on it

Have any of the oils evaporated or dried out perhaps? That is really the only thing I can think of off hand that might be causing you some problems.

I`ve never used it with my rotary, but VM is my go to product with my PC before I put the LSP on. It`s so easy to use and gives such nice depth and shine that I can`t imagine being with out it. Like scottwax said, maybe the product has gone bad from sitting around so long.

    Yep that sounds likely.
