OK so i have done my research and am totaly lost.

Whats the difference? Is it just the counter weight or whats the deal?

And if it is just the counterweight is it really that big of a deal?

basically, yes.. the 7336sp has some additional accessories that you don`t need.

And correct me if im wrong but neither the 7424 nor the 7336 come with the velcro backing plate or a "good" polishing pad.

Neither come with the backing plate.. they are sold seperately. The PC comes with a white pad that from what Ive heard is OK.. some use it for window polishing.

If youre looking for a PC, backing plate, and pads... check out my for sale thread in the Hot Tub --> Trading Post. I have all of what youre looking for for sale.
