You might try a large NAPA store. They might have 3M or Meguiar`s pads.

I had the same problem. I ended up just waiting on the order from autopia-carare.com.

Only my local paint shop had them. Check the phone book for the one nearest you (or the yellow pages online at www.yellow.com).

One had Meguiar`s and another had 3M. But they were super expensive. If it were me I`d put my order in today and then read up in the meantime. You`ll have you`re stuff ready by next weekend...

^^^ What he said. Look under Autobody Supplies as well. In a pinch call any Body Shop in your area and ask them where they get thier stuff from..

And yes there is a price delta.

Good suggestion as most of the body shop supply stores will carry a selection of pads. Another outlet is a detail supply store. Many areas have Automagic, CarBrite distributors or other brand distributors that carry a full line of pads. One of the local ones here has private label Lake County pads. Good luck and enjoy that PC.

I am lucky, I live within 3 miles of two different auto parts stores that carry pads for my rotary and PC. Thrify Auto parts and Foster Auto parts.

Ah well, I ended up using a couple of pads, and ordered a Sonus pad kit from Autopia! Can`t wait for next time! Then again, my wife wants me to detail her big-a** Mercedes wagon, so may I can wait!

Hi slogans7. How far you willing to drive?

Detailing Depot in Costa Mesa has everything you need. Not sure about anybody closer to you but you can check the phone book or the Meguiar`s dealer locator for auto paint stores.

I go to Professional auto paint stores, they have a full range of paint related products including various pad and other items.
Prep is everything .. The rest is the window looking in....
