    Does anyone know what the orbit diameter of the PC7224 is?

    I guess that would depend on the size of the pad wouldn`t it?



    I`m going to guess with a 6.5" pad, the orbit diameter is about 7.5". You can do a test to find out though. Just put a little light polish on the pad and run it for a few seconds on the paint without moving it. Then measure the circle of polished area on the paint.

    Don`t run it too fast though, since you`ll be sitting in one spot.

    I think the orbits are 5/16 or 1/4 inch...

    I think its 15/16ths" this is a lot compared to most polishers/sanders which are more normally 1/4". Perhaps its why the PC is so effective?

    Pad throw should be the same as orbit diameter, shouldn`t it?
