After a long wait whilst getting my garage built, its finally been completed, Iâ€â„¢m planning to detail my car tomorrow, I received my PC, a range of polishes, pads, MF towels, transformer & extension lead.

I decided to attach the Sonus backing plate, and turn the PC on for a final test before I begin work, but the plug on my PC will not fit into the extension lead or my transformer, any ideas??

    Here is the transformer

    Here is the extension lead

    Thanks for your help guys

My electricians came back 5 mins ago to fit the rest of the lights; he just snipped off the plug and is fitting a new one for me (one that can be used with the extension lead)

Yeah, our 110v site trannys etc. have a completely different plug to the USA 110v plug. You`ve done the right thing - just cut off the PC plug and replace it with a 110v site plug.

I done it the hard way - I tracked down a USA extension cable and purchased a UK-USA step-down tranny that has USA outlets on the front, so I didn`t have to cut off my PC plug.
