...when I buff out an old Mercedes with MG`s Clearcoat Conditioner. This pink stuff get`s on every bit of trim and really makes a mess. I can`t mask off the car, so what`s the easiest way to remove the white haze left?

Is it the same answer for those typical all-in-one wax/cleaners where you get a little sloppy and get some on grainy, plastic trim?

My wife get`s all bent when I get the heavy tools out, but I don`t have the time to do this wagon by hand...and I`m not smart enough to hand if off to a Pro. Thanks in advance for the help.

I`d mask off trim and parts that can stain or get embedded with polish. No sense in creating more work for yourself.

After polishing the easiest thing to do is a rewash.

I usally do everything to the car and when I am done I go around the car with alcohol and a cloth to clean up staining. From there, use a Quick Detailer spray to remove the residue on the painted panels.

I hate to say it but I would be more careful when applying the stuff. Go slow near the trim and stuff....This would save the cleaning step when done.... APply by hand near the trim and then work the polisher into it. Kinda like cutting in when you paint.

Also maybe you have too much product on the pad so whenit starts to move you get splatter.

Either way; you will spend the time applying everywhere and then cleaning the trim

    .........or.......

spend the time applying it neatly.
