It would have to be a Hummer or a K series Pickup with the Z71 package, an 8" lift kit, and Monster Mudder tires.

My beater/company car (FWD and narrow tires) or my 85 Jeep J10 2.5 ton Pick-up with 6" lift kit. None of my detailed cars.

By the way we got 8" here in southern Va last night which is equivalent to 2` in the North ( born and raised in Boston ).

I have seen a set up on Dodge Rams where they replace the tires with tread system. If I recall right the treads are in a triangle pattern, two wheels at the bottom one at the top. Has that go anyhwere look to it.

I have seen those at a lot of conventions for UTILITIES and land based drilling contractors. They make it for any truck and it is pretty neat up close. suppose to allow you to go over marshes and crap.

The snow storm we got here (Va) on Thursday barely missed you!!!

You must have been praying very hard

Fortunately it was in the high 40`s yesterday and is going to be near 50 today. Most of the snow has already melted but now there is a possiblity that we may get some more snow tomorrow. So far they are still calling for rain and only snow at higher elevations. I am praying that we do not get an ice storm. That is the worst. Rain and snow - driveable ice- all hell breaks loose!!

I moved South ( from Boston ) but I guess not south enough.

14 year old Single Stage Paint

I have to opportunity to do a full detail on a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner.

The car is is great shape and was repainted about 14 years old with single stage enamel. The car is indoors most of the time but it has been driven.

The finish exhibits a moderate degree of oxidation over most of the exterior. This said, I feel that even through the paint is 14 years old it can be brought back to life using the right polisher, pads, and products.

I think I know how to approach this but the car is a classic and I`d like to enlist your knowledge and experience and hear your recommended attack plan including products.

If I had some photos I`d post them but I didn`t have my camera with me when I looked at it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Bobby
