The hackin` just never stops

This is from the hood of an 08 vette w/ 5k miles.

Client bought it a few weeks ago, it has some water spots. so upon the recommendation of someone. He hires a "detailer" aka hack to try and get the water spots out of the hood.

Client was gone while this was being done.
When client returns a few hours later, he asks the hack WTF are you doing? Hack claims he can fix it.
Client smells pot in his garage.
Hack denies that he is smoking pot.
Client tells him to get the F out!!!
Hack says he can fix everything.
Client says I am going to call the sheriff.
Hack leaves....

Best that the client can figure, this hack went at it with an air sander and 1500/2000 discs (He found them in the garage.) Then tries to polish it out.

Bret will be here at 8am. Wash, clay and then finally I get some use out of my Defelsko PosiTector 200 Series (Advanced.)

Some of the pigtails look very deep. Client is aware that it might not be fixable without removing too much clear coat.

This is the hood, but the front fenders and nose is like this too.

Yeah, I`ve had numerous "hack" jobs in my garage. Buffer trails, holograms, hazing, Yep, that`s what keeps us busy!:smile:

Unbelieveable mess he made ! Geez, he is ruining the reps of good, honest pakalolo users with his irresponsible idiotic behavior.

Glad that someone came to their senses and called you. It will turn out as best possible with you there now.

This hack should be automatically entered in the US Olympic PenHackathon, as he shows real depth in ruining things really quickly - he would be best placed as the 1st Hacker out of the blocks.

Good luck, I know it will turn out the best possible with what is left to work with.

I might have been tempted to let my GSD`s work over this Hack`s behind as he ran screaming like a little schoolgirl out of the garage...

He should have called the sheriff. He should also do the good City of Atlanta a favor and post the guy`s name and business name (if there is one) on every auto detailing forum within reach. Fingers crossed for the corrective work!

We stopped a little early so I could watch my Steelers win. :hurray:

Tomorrow I will give it a good wash and a few coats of zaino.

I`m pretty sure that the client will now sleep at night.

AWESOME...and exciting, cause I just received my 105 and 205 via UPS yesterday. Also got my PFW and other pads from PAC as well. I`m now ready to finally take on Der Swirlmeister, my old Benz. :hurray:

Comforting to know that THAT kind of damage can be un-done.
