I just ordered some today. I am anxious to try them. I`ve worked mostly with CCS so far.
I hear voices in my mind and you’re worried that you’re the freak.

Has anyone heard if the 5.5" flat pads will make a comeback?
For me they just have a little more "bite" than the CCS.

You`ve been given one life.
Think about it.
Bill, we brought the "flat" pads in because of the demand from anumber of people on this community. We added our "Dual Foam" technology to them, (and if you haven`t tried one of our pads with "Dual Foam" you should. It really makes a difference) so they maintain a particular "feel" while in use. We are not, at this time bringing in a 5" version, but will have a 4" version shortly. Hope these two will work for you in the future.
Thanks
jk
Jack that`s a great move! I love flat pads and will be ordering some of these very soon... however, I`ve bought pads from you before, mainly those variable contact LC pads, and ALWAYS had problems with the backing... it just comes off way too fast... was this something that`s been worked on over the past few years or no?
To clarify, I started using your pads back in 2006, and they worked just fine, then sometime in early 2007 I think, maybe later, when you first came out with the ccs pads with your blue foam, that`s when my problems started... every pad I got in would lose the backing after washing (I tried 10 different ways of washing and 10 different solutions with snappy cleaner) so I just gave up...
However, I still have some of the really old pads, and Jack is right, for those who haven`t tried the pads with the blue foam on top (or bottom, however you wanna look at it haha) they have a nicer, softer feel to them, especially when it comes tot he harder yellow and orange pads.
