I searched but couldn`t find anything specific to this. I have a customer who I did an interior detail for, and he bought a new F-150. He wants to get a protective film put on by a shop (I don`t know if it`s actually going to be 3m Clear Bra or not). So he asked me what I think he should do. Should I polish and wax it before or after? I haven`t seen the truck, but I`m guessing since he`s asking for it, it might not be perfect condition.

From what I`ve read, when a clear bra is put on they would remove any wax, sealant, etc. So would it be recommended to polish, then have the clear bra added, and then wax the rest?

The customer lives 1 hour away so if he had to come twice it would be a pain for him. I should probably ask what exactly will be covered by the film, so I can wax the areas that won`t be, and but polish the entire truck.

Thanks
