I`m trying to decide which one to buy. I am particularly interested in fellow Autopians that have used both the Griot and Rupes
Thanks in advance,

We switched to exclusively Griot`s, I had one of the first rupes in the country. Excellent machine and lasted with a ton of use 4 years. I find the Griot`s to be smoother and more comfortable to use, I like the warranty and the fact they tell you and give you what you need to make the machine more aggressive. I do have a rupes I brid until Griot`s has one.
And Griot`s compared to Flex?
Adams SK is worth a look. I got one and happy with it.

i waited and waited for the Flex version. But after a while, I ended up getting the Griots 15, and a Rupes 21 (the Flex wasn`t avail).
Had a chance to try the Flex during Competition Ready filming, and am considering it as a future purchase.
All are great machines. For me, comes down to cost and how comfortable I am with the machines.

Coming down to cost, wouldn`t the Griot win out?
Competition Ready Team 1929 Bentley
1999 Silvermist Metallic Pontiac Grand Prix GT
2002 Arctic White Chevy Camaro SS
Take into consideration Rupes has a factory in the U.S. That`s worth a few dollars to me.

But ask them about washers and switching plates? The Griot`s warranty wins every time!
Go w/ the Griots 15 or the Rupes 15 & pass on the Adams machine.
Thank all of you for your input. Based on Mike`s experience with the Rupes and Groit machines, I have decided to go with the Groit 15. Also because I have small hands, I feel the Groit handle will work better for me.

After polishing X amount of cars and (unfortunately ) dropping my Rupes LHR 15ES X amount of times...I`m sold on the build and quality on the Mark 2 models. The power and smoothness are there too of course. My Makita and Rupes are my two favorite polishers.
