Wow - looks pretty much identical! Does it also have the variable speed trigger?

KBsToy- Might oughta take the same precautions as with the Flex with regard to the plate rubbing on the housing.

Trigger is just on / off switch speed settings on side of handle

You do have to press the trigger down before machine actually turns on.

Very true, I have the Rupes copy also... just being an enthusiast the generics I have purchased have worked well for me. If I was in business I would get the name brands just like the soaps / waxes.

    Re: My New Polisher

Ok update on my new Glover forced action polisher. Flex backing plates will not line up. I bought a OPEN BOX Rupes 15 M11 it was used and problems with packing but never less a nice machine. So I have sold my generics and putting my Generic flex on ebay and stay with just using the Rupes so I hope I made the right decision ?

As I have said before I am a hobbyist and I hope the Rupes works out.

Many here have sold their 3401s.
The 15 should handle mostly everything WITHOUT beating you up.
    15 is my goto.
