Picked up a new toy. Thanks Vega!!!!

Scored a PE8 for a sweet deal thanks to the open box sale last week. Also just picked up all the pads to go with it. Can`t wait to try it out.

That looks awesome. I wish that I had one of those last week because I had so many tight spots on the jeep between the grills that I had to hand polish and even then its not perfect.

I have never used a rotary and I am afraid of inflicting swirls and burning paint. let me know how it is to work with.

Have you ever used a rotary before?

Thanks bud. Yes I cut my teeth on a rotary 12yrs ago. Just takes patients and practice. With today`s high end products and pads swirls are a lot less likely. Here is a correction I did with just a rotary.

That`s funny. I said that the other day. The rocker switch needs to go.

Can someone explain to me how using a rotary differs from a DA when correcting paint. I know it`s faster so you can`t stay in the same spot too long. But I`m really talking about buffer trails and swirls. How do you not inflict them?

Need to be more alert like you said about not staying in one spot. Pressure comes into play. Mainly letting the machine do the work and not put too much pressure while finishing. Keeping the pad flat and using good products and pads. There not as scary as people make them out to be.
