D300 - I know it is very popular with a lot of people especially who only use da polishers, but create some holograms wit a rotary, than "correct" with D300. Protect it or not, wash that panel in a week and you will have one nasty looking panel. Just saying, since we are talking about the "truth" - D300 is great at hiding.:think2

That`s strange, I`ve never noticed any hiding when using D300, and it finishes much nicer than most other compounds.
Do the experiment. Why do you think it "finishes" so nice?

Can it hide? Sure but so can almost any other compound or polish when you slather it on and let it set and don`t remove the oils and such.

I know one that has no fillers.
ValuGard Cerious Compound, which is cerium oxide based.
What you see is what you get, when used correctly.
And that, gentlemen, is normally true of any professional product.
When in doubt, mist with an IPA/water mix and allow to dwell for a minute or two before wiping clean, works for the average person to find what the end result is.
Grumpy
You two argue like you`re married to each other
3M Rubbing Compound has no fillers either. That stuff is straight dope!
