Sorry, no pics today, but will have them probably tomorrow.

Black 09 CTS with HEAVY swirls and holograms, using the PC XP with LC orange on speed 6 with Menz SIP. Never got 90%+ from one stage before!! This is crazy! And it has a great gloss and no micromarring either. Just thought I`d share

    Awesome, Jeff!

To 98% of eyes, that`s PERFECT. The only thing you are missing out on is some gloss from a true finishing polish, but SIP looks great too. Now do a section with 85rd :xyxthumbs Just don`t be too tempted to do the rest.

If that`s the case, I might have to get rid of my M105/M205 :nervous2:!

I hear many good things about this SIP stuff...

Its allowed me to do corrections I didn`t think were possible with only 2 steps.... Its made me some good money. I`d call that worth it

I`ve one stepped some Black paints before with M105 and the TUF-BUF Black Lambswool pad on a Festool Rotex and finished LSP capable.

Mind you, these were time-crunch type details and, for my liking, could`ve used some finishing, but I got 90% of what I wanted and was sufficiently impressed with 105.

SIP fits comfortably between 105 and 205. No harm in having both.

Looks great Jeff. I find that some polishes will not be effected by 1-2 straight IPA wipedowns. I like to do 4-5 on at least one section of the car.

Use EZ Creme Glaze. If your surface looks good after that, it`s good. I have done 5-6 Prep sol wipe downs and NOTHING. Then did EZ Creme Glaze and some came back. That product is really packed with cleaners.
