I have a Meguiar`s double sided wool pad and a cleaning spur. I don`t have a pad cleaning tool like the system 2000. What would be the best method to give my wool pad a thorough cleaning?

Wash it by hand in the kitchen sink with warm water and dawn?

    or

Wash it in the washing machine like micro fiber clothes?

Can it be dried in the dryer?

    Thanks

A detailer showed me a trick he uses. he runs the buffer upside down and uses a bench grinder dresing tool. Then washes them with dawn, put them back on the buffer and spins most of the water out of them you can stick it in a bucket to keep the spray down.

dry the rest of the way by leaving them face down on a counter.

I think if you put them in a dryer you will lose the velcro backing.

Until I got the system 2000 here I`ve always just tossed my wool pads in the washing machine. Wouldn`t recommend drying with the heat on though.. Tend to get a little warpage LOL.
