    Hello,

I`ve got a krauss rotary buffer, it`s not a professional one but works well, with 6 speed etc etc

I also have a lot of pads, some flat and some wave

i need to correct a black vw touareg that i think have a really hard paint, it has only swirls and some hologram not deep scratches so i need something to finish it up!

wich polish would you recommend? and also to use with flat or wave pads?

I was thinking to buy M205 from elite car care, do you know some better shop in europe for car detailing?

    thank you!!!:up

p.s. i`d like to post photos but if i do, i have problems because i`m still under 10 posts

    3M bought Meguiars.

No, i mean that here the 3m line is available and i can found it in a professional shop but meguiars (pro line) is not available at all. I should buy it from UK(maybe is cheaper)

can you tell me wich products of 3m i need to replace m105/m205? so i can check wich way is the cheapest! thanks!

your links pull up porn after you close the page, you may want to fix that.

the # here in the states is 06060 to compound. Any medium polish will do before Ultra fina, but you can use the whole 3M system as well. The numbers maybe different in Italy.

Ok, i ve got some news:

this was the point of start

today i did 2 light passes with a fine polishing pad and 3M FAST CUT COMPOUND(my paint man give me a little to try), i thought it was too heavy but...these are the afters:

There are only light swirls (i think because it was not enough dark outside)

It seems to be ready to be finished with ultrafina, and it seems that this paint is hard, isn`t it?

So what should i do? buy a bottle of fast cut compound and do a first pass of that on the entire car? should i get something lighter? Remaining in the 3m line, that i can found easily!

this is the other side, is dirty but the swirls are visible...all the car is in this conditions.

    thanks!:xyxthumbs

I did a wipe with alcool and now it shows a lot of holograms, it seems that this fast cut has lot or fillers?
