In corporate America (Can I sound more rude?) When the old dogs bank enough dough to kick back, the HR departments are forced to hound the B-schools to recruit some kids with "ideas". (Remember the movie "In Good Company? If not, watch it.) These kids re-hash the old correct ways and attempt to do things they have no experience doing! This is why old stuff ALWAYS comes back.

Sometimes old methods are supplanted by new ones (the "development" of diminishing abrasives?), only to come back as a better method with a change in technology (perhaps in this case, the "micro-milling" of the abrasives to acheive a uniform size). When did we go from garnet to aluminum oxide and silicon carbide sandpaper? When synthetic abrasive manufacturing was developed/perfected to replace the natural (garnet or even "sand"). 30 years ago if you wetsanded it was with 3M wet-or-dry silicon carbide paper...today it`s a unigrit paper (3M also has a micron-sized polishing paper with more uniform grit size).

I am waiting for the final "paper" to be released before i make my final decision on my purchase. I was tempted to buy a flex kit with menzerna solutions, but after reading about this method i decided to hold off a little longer to see if i should go with a PC instead of flex.

I`ve had great results with the KB method... for the most part:

...I think I overdid it with the pressure on that one. :nervous:
